Pacific was retained by the electrification business unit of a world leading industrial manufacturing organization headquartered in Colorado to recruit a Software and Electronics Engineer for the new unit. Pacific had already made a strong Director level placement in the organization, and the client had high expectations for this position.
Given the fact that the new division was growing rapidly and had already sold their products, they needed an expert with strong leadership skills and engineering experience to manage the growing needs of the Engineering teams. The client needed a leader to be responsible for the growth and development of the teams while also supporting the different projects they were building out.
After utilizing Pacific’s direct network, stage two of work for this project was concentrated on mapping the market and identifying key companies to target in the local area of Colorado. We then used our best practices search model to engage with several candidates in the local market which led to the placement of a seasoned Engineering Manager with experience in the Medical Device space, a core target industry for this position.
We successfully identified the right talent for this position, and additionally was placed on a new search to help grow this individual’s team. Today – the candidate has begun his new position and is already off to a strong start in the pivotal role. Pacific more broadly remains engaged with the client on numerous Engineering positions and has grown the relationship with the former candidate to a current client.
