Pacific was retained by this privately owned, Global Engineering firm that provide HVAC and building management solutions and products to the global market. We were engaged to identify a Senior Manager of Logistics & Supply Chain to drive the implementation and improvement activities of their logistic processes & lead world-class inbound and outbound logistics team locally in Poland.
We were engaged by the Group VP of Operations to go to the market and identify a true leader who could manage a complex growth business unit whilst transforming the local team. Pacific was tasked to identify a strong shortlist of female diversity with demonstratable strong leadership, operational excellence, and supply chain expertise.
Working closely with a number of key stakeholders including VP and Director level hiring manager and the local Plant Operations Director, our team were able to target and map the right organisations. We maximised our legacy and network whilst also having native Polish speakers lead the search from our search delivery function.
We were able to identify a though longlist of candidates and present a candidate shortlist including an equal split of gender diversity.
The successful candidate was identified and interviewed by multiple stakeholders within the leadership team. She accepted an offer within 3 weeks of being shortlisted and presented to the client. The company itself pride itself on diversity and inclusion and the need for a strong female candidate was met by Pacific. The successful female incumbent was headhunted from an indirect competitor bringing all the right technical skills, can-do attitude and strong energy and passion for the company.
Today, Pacific continues to support the client on a global and European level in various leadership roles.
