The organization had been experiencing significant growth globally and was restructuring their leadership team to align with its lean transformation goals. Their Quality team lacked a hands-on and lean-oriented “change agent” who was not afraid to get involved on the shop floor and manage pushback from hourly associates. The client needed a high-potential leader with a strong continuous improvement background to fill this gap. The critical lean skillset needed for this role, paired with the significance of it being at a flagship site brought the client to Pacific for support.
As we have supported many client’s previously in search of strong lean manufacturing leaders and have built an extensive network in the market. However, our resourcing skills proved to be more critical to our success for this role. We were able to place the right candidate: a strong, diverse, high-potential leader who was looking for a new challenge.
