Pacific was retained by a Private Equity backed soap manufacturing organization that is one of the fastest growing D2D consumer brands in the US. They were looking for a Manufacturing expert to help lead their growing organisation through the transition of building their second site.
The organisation was experiencing significant growth , and they were looking for someone with proven experience of running operations within a large CPG facility.
The Perfect candidate would have a mix of greenfield experience and strong structure. Along with being a strong people leader who could fit in to their “scrappy” culture.
As Pacific had previously worked with another organisation within their PE portfolio, the client asked us to deliver on this critical role for the growing business. The team turned to us as they had not been successful in finding someone with the right leadership style and ability to create something new on their own.
Utilising our knowledge of the California market, we were able to place a candidate from a food manufacturing organisation into a Director level position for the existing facility. This candidate was extremely skilled in Plant Management and had diverse industry experience. He had experience working with PE organisations and building processes from scratch.
The successful candidate was identified, did the interview process, and accepted an offer. With his strong background in Manufacturing and his open personality the candidate hit the ground running and has already brought many new ideas to the plant. Additionally, Pacific has been retained on a second search with the organisation to help fulfil a Senior Manager position for the continued build out.
