Important Notice: Fraudulent Recruitment Activity

Pacific International Executive Search is aware that fraudsters are impersonating executive search firms, including firms like ours, to target job seekers across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other platforms. These scams are designed to obtain your personal information or money under the pretense of a legitimate job opportunity and by claiming association with Pacific International.

Pacific International will never solicit payment from candidates, and our consultants will always contact you from a verified @pacific-international.com email address.

Red flags to watch for:

  • An unsolicited message from an unfamiliar sender, particularly from a free email service (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) or an unrecognised phone number
  • A message sent to multiple recipients rather than addressed to you personally
  • A request for your CV/resume, personal details, or any form of payment
  • A role that seems implausible, unusually high compensation, vague responsibilities, or not aligned with the kinds of senior appointments Pacific International typically handles
  • Any message urging you to click links or open attachments

What to do if you’re targeted:

  • Do not reply, click any links, or provide personal or financial information/payment
  • Block the sender and report the communication to the platform (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.)
  • If the message claims to be from Pacific International, please notify us directly so we can investigate

To verify the legitimacy of any communication claiming to be from Pacific International, please refer to our Team page where we list current Pacific International employees along with their contact details or to report suspected fraud, contact us at legal@pacific-international.com.
